@ Tiffany everything you said has happened to me! Read "the yeast connection" an amazing book and it'll help you understand having a yeast over growth in your body and what to do to help. I've recently started taking probiotics & have found they've helped. It also helped to control sugar cravings & I've lost some weight. Taking antibiotics more than 4-5 times a year or having a baby help to throw off your body's ph balance.... Allowing yeast to grow.... Check out the book & doing Internet research helps as well.

Good luck

Hi Tiffany-

I'm sorry to hear about your recent bouts with yeast infections. They're definitely NOT fun. Unfortunately, many times fluconazole may take care of yeast infections, but it's normally only a temporary remedy and the yeast infection almost always comes back--sometimes worse than before. I would recommend that you use Yeastrol and for added benefit I would suggest another product mentioned on this blog called Oregasil. Oregasil is a wild oregano oil that has a ton of benefits including anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and, most importantly for yeast infection treatment, anti-fungal properties. It will come with some veggie capsules and a dropper cap. To begin with, put about 3-4 drops of the Oregasil oil in a veggie cap and take WITH FOOD and a few ounces of water--2-3 times a day. After a week, you can increase the dosage to 5-10 drops in each capsule. You may start to feel some "die off" symptoms--sort of like flu-ish symptoms. If these die-off symptoms get too bad, back off on your dosage a bit. But don't stop taking the oil. Take it steadily at these dosages for at least three weeks. Once you see that your yeast infection is gone for good--you can go to a maintenance dose which is normally 3-5 drops once daily 3-4 times a week. This works for me, but you can experiment a bit and find what works best for you. Oregasil is also great for keeping flu and colds at bay. If you start feeling flu-ish or like your getting a cold, start taking the oil asap and it usually keep colds and viruses from coming on.

Also, your diet has a lot to do with yeast infection occurrences. Stay away from any yeasty foods such as breads, beer, some nuts, etc. There are a few posts on this blog regarding diet suggestions and there is also a ton of diet information for yeast infections on the web.

Let me know how you're doing! I hope these suggestions are helpful.
